Firearms reform rumored release this week.

As it stands right now, in theory all you need to turn in would be the lower and the barrel that your AR is registered as having. No upper, no internal parts etc etc

Good thing mine are all registered as receivers only.

If he has proved anything it's that. Another useless politician. What a joke.

The one thing Ontario has going for it that Alberta don't, is that they have the OPP and Doug Ford could maybe tell them not to enforce and gun confiscations from legal owners.
If that happened maybe it would give other premiers some balls to stand up to Trudeau.

Lower mainland police (RCMP and Vancouver Police Department) were instructed not to arrest/investigate the illegal drug dealers running pot shops. And they complied.

All, I saw this floating around for potential bans - not sure of legitimacy. You can probably expect the AR-15 to be there too.

List:

CZ 858
Ruger Mini-14
Ruger Mini-30
Dominion Arms SOCOM 18 (M14 Clone)
Polytechnologies M305 (M14 Clone)
Polytechnologies M1A (M14 Clone)
Swiss Arms Blue Star Rifle
FAMAE SG540 Rifle
Ruger 10/22 Rifle (WTF?!!)
Ruger 22 Charger Pistol
Russian SKS Carbine
US M1 Carbine

Anyone else notice that all these rifles have fixed charging handles? Easily converted to FA by the old shoelace trick is my guess.

This has me wondering. Just say I buy an AR and then sell the upper, am I supposed to inform the CFP? Or when I buy a lower and build it into a rifle? New AR owner here, unsure of those hypothetical scenarios.

It's time we stood up to the feds. I hope it happens.

Until I receive written notification (maybe by registered mail) that my ATT is revoked, I will continue to take my AR to the range. Until that time they can "hence forth and multiple elsewhere."

And just before the end of the amnesty period to surrender our property, hopefully we all exercise our petition to courts under Section 71... flood the legal system.

Looks like we are going to go from being treated like criminals to actually being criminals. The good part is we don't get treated any worse.

There will be a "grace period" for what, two years? That gives us some time to work. That gives us some time to get out and support CPC candidates because they are the only ones who might undo this legislation.

DON'T GIVE UP YOUR LEGALLY ACQUIRED FIREARMS!

I bought a stripped lower. It's registered. There is no barrel.

Liberals had a window of 14 days from the wacko shooting in NS, after that time frame momentum is lost to other events, during a time of grief, virus and house doing the video stuff he is a real #### pushing firearm stuff thro

As I undertand things, and I could be wrong, if you convert your registered lower into a functioning firearm, you have 30 days to notify the RCMPs that the registration needs to change from lower only to an actual firearm..... but it's not the same if you convert a functioning firearm into a lower... if you sell alll of your AR's part (except for the lower of course), then you don't need to tell them anything.

30 days when the barrel length changes.

But once I remove my uppers, they're no longer complete rifles, so I've never hit 30 days. As well multiple lowers + uppers means I don't want to risk having it registered as a longer length when tossing shorter uppers on it.

We can all marry a native women and live on the reservation. After what happened at the beginning of the year you wont see any RCMP near a reservation to confiscate firearms legal or not.

I'm just fine with identifying as native. According to everyone around me, I'm already on traditional territory of the Giveawhoop First Nation.
