Firearms reform rumored release this week.

There is some speculation that the 11 models are the 11 the RCMP tested and deemed to be easily convertable to full automatic. I have no idea if its true but over on Reddit they are talking about it and have some documents that may tell us more.

For example he is the list from the report of 11 models.

And here is an article about the report.
https://www.cbc.ca/news/politics/rcmp-rifle-upgrades-semi-automatic-1.3400423

Using that list it's the following

Cz858
Ruger mini 14
Ruger mini 30
Springfield m1a
Norinco M305
Swiss arms
Famae sg540
Ruger 10/22
Ruger Charger
SKS
M1 Carbine.

But I find it hard to believe the ar15 wont be on it.

SKS and Ruger 10/22......2 of the most popular semi autos in Canada

Good luck!!!!

There will be a "grace period" for what, two years? That gives us some time to work. That gives us some time to get out and support CPC candidates because they are the only ones who might undo this legislation.

DON'T GIVE UP YOUR LEGALLY ACQUIRED FIREARMS!

We can all marry a native women and live on the reservation. After what happened at the beginning of the year you wont see any RCMP near a reservation to confiscate firearms legal or not.

Im disgusted the government is taking advantage of the pandemic to push their firearms agenda. We cant even go out and protest and if we do the public will turn against us. Very disappointed, major decisions like this shouldn't be made when people have no ability protest or give their voice.

No one knows that. They can enact c71 via oic then push all of them to prohib via oic the next day. The one thing we have on our side is the way the legislation is written is we get notice of a ban we can all file a section challenge and plug up the courts. Irg did a good writeup on this.

You cynical (but right on the money) b@stard. I'm going to have my wife do an Ancestry.ca DNA test. Maybe I'm good after all.

All the rail and road blockades proved the the way to get any kind of action is civil disobedience.

If reason in decisions is absent, and propaganda abounds, what other course of action is there? If the majority of Canadians voted to ban private property (land) because “who needs a hundred acres?” Would we all give that up too? The RCMP have proven that they can’t keep people safe, and that firearm laws can’t protect the people from a maniac, yet they are demanding your property. Demanding that they have the right to remove some of your ability to defend against evil and tyranny.

Until I receive written notification (maybe by registered mail) that my ATT is revoked, I will continue to take my AR to the range. Until that time they can "hence forth and multiple elsewhere."

And just before the end of the amnesty period to surrender our property, hopefully we all exercise our petition to courts under Section 71... flood the legal system.

Looks like we are going to go from being treated like criminals to actually being criminals. The good part is we don't get treated any worse.

Well as criminals we would be free to do whatever we want I guess.
That seems to be the norm with these effen idiots.

Lol same... maybe they'll finally feel threatened. I was going to buy a 10/22 last month, but ended up getting a handgun instead. Phew.

The 10/22 is a blast to shoot. Borrowed a friend's a few years back.
