Firearms reform rumored release this week.

"The list is not expected to include handguns. Blair has said the government will legislate new powers for municipalities to enact their own restrictions on handguns."

And that's how they'll destroy handgun ownership.

Agreed, if this becomes reality all the orgs should be pushing the same message. Peaceful non compliance. It’s our only choice.

Well it’s not our only choice, it’s the more palatable one.

So following the process in the IRG post, in opposition to any restricted firearms that are banned, we submit our appeals to the revocations.
Given how much of a strain processing everything will be, especially at this time, are the RCMP going to be amicable to it?
The only reason C71 isn't in effect yet is so the Libs can still push through OIC classification changes. As far as I understood it C71 will take the ability to reclassify away from them.
If they put the classification changes through an OIC, then later fully enact C71, what's stopping the RCMP from just switching them back to the previous status? With the federal government no longer able to reclassify the Libs couldn't do anything about it. Unless my understanding of the situation is incorrect which is entirely possible.
The question then would be how many friends do we have in the RCMP, and are they committed to undertaking all that work right now? I would imagine that's an awful long shot but any port in a storm...

So, if the protests don't work, and the courts don't work, in regards to the AR types, if we call in and change the registration to stripped lower no barrel etc., then when they come for it, all we have to give them is the stripped lower,, correct? It is the only part with a serial # and is the receiver!

For now dont plan on giving anyone anything. We'll cross that bridge later.

So.... 9 out of 22 victims died from the fire. Are they going to also ban lighters, matches, fuel, or heck, oxygen?

The pure idiocracy just makes you want to puke.

Good look to the RCMP at finding all of the NR firearms... The SKS is one of the most affordable semi automatic firearms in the country

They don't care about finding them, they care about having a long-standing law prohibiting them for which they can lock up and bankrupt non compliant citizens for decades to come who don't turn them in when they're discovered to still own them.
These future seizures will also pad their future gun confiscation stats to further fool the public into believing they are keeping them safe.

So much for our 175,000 petition we all signed. This country makes me sick!.....:)

Where are the Canadian firearms groups supposedly fighting for law abiding Canadians?

Buying a bigger newer bus maybe?
