They do have a different fell to them.
I have a sig 220r 45, nice gun, but I just don't use it, having 1911's for 50 yrs, Think I will list it.
after you shoot it for a while, it will feel " right"
For yrs shooting informal bullseye , I would load light with semi wadcutters, shooting off hand, these days old joints , I am more into 2 hands.
I do shoot more 38 sp than 45 these days, and I took the comp off as it looks silly, and I don't shoot fast with 45's as a rule.
A real Colt will always hold it's value, mind you that goes for most quality guns.
