lol @ all marstar brown nose.

Every online order i make anywhere (amazon, ebay, NCIX, FutureShop, Bestbuy, Newegg, Aliexpress, DHgate etc. etc.) ship within 1-3 days MAX. (boots, shoes, watch, electronic, hell even a snowboard)

What would justify 3 weeks - 1 month for Marstar (other are slow as hell too, ie CanAm) ?

You guys need to grow a backbone.

Johnone is at the shot show shopping for his great customers .Ill show him this when he returns . Thank you all for your support.

Aha! We have been duped! An impostor! lol. That would explain it. We all thought John got some Valium, Paxil, or Zoloft. If you had used bold print, we never would have known... poor John, so many people; some happy, some angry, some confused, some like me, amused.

With the exception of eBay, all of those companies have a massive workforce primarily there to put things in boxes. Marstar is a handful of people from what I have seen who have other responsibilities. John Q. Example goes to work at the Amazon warehouse, boxes up items all day, including no more tears formula shampoo for Marstar customers, and goes home. And there are hundreds of people like Mr. Example. Marstar does way more than that.

There are plenty of single person online sales operations that handle far more volume than Marstar and can handle customer service and logistics better. Stop making excuses for Marstar.

They have poor customer interaction skills, they're difficult and eccentric to deal with, for that I'll take my business to someone who is willing to work for my money.

Canam was about 8 buisness days to ship me my crate of ammo, that was pretty quick imo. Marstar those lazy paper pushers, I ordered a restricted gun on the 31st after buisness hours and they didn't do anything until the 2nd where they sent me an update e-mail, then it took 6 days to send me another e-mail saying they're waiting on approval. that was 8 days ago, yesh. I've been waiting 17 days, most of which have been weekends and holidays, I've never ordered a restricted before, I haven't called or e-mailed the store. I should be financially compensated for my lack of effort and need to complain. <-- hopefully that last line will make the slower crowd realize I'm poking fun. If I don't get another update before february then I'll call. They aren't a bad dealer, I'm actually surprised I could walk into a store and leave the same day with a gun; with the way things are going that might not be possible for long :(.

What ever happened to the good ole days when we used to have to dutifully thumb through paper catalogues,

In the good old days you just went down to the Eaton's gun counter, picked out what you wanted and took your uncased rifle home on the bus and nobody batted an eyelid.

As far as efficiency goes, I would have to give marstar pretty good marks to be fair. The quality of packaging and shipping was notably excellent.

Their email system kept me well informed of the status and someone always answered the phone.

Thankfully we live in a first world country that is free enough to allow us to post our complaints and have the ability to choose where to buy our firearms.

Let's wait until John is back from Shot Show, there will be more interesting information about their customer service.

come on guys, this guy has an opinion. he didn't like marstar's service. Maybe you guys have different experiences and you love marstar or any other dealer but he has the right to express himself. every time someone talks about dealer's customer service every single guy on CGN attack him. this is not normal you have the right to like or hate the service you received. I'm not bashing Marstar or any other dealer I had good experience with Marstar and other great dealers but when you pay money you expect a very good service and you have the right to give your feedback.

Agreed.

For the record, I am most certainly not opposing OP, but would like to hear the other side as well.

In few days, I will be able to contribute more to this picture... Stay tuned.

Times have showned me that the loudest complaints ( if needed ) are spelled C-R-E-D-I-T--- C-A-R-D- no need for nothing else.... JP.

We only have one girl working on shipping at my office. We ship the same or next day every time. But hey, that's just how we do it.

I am a customer of Marstar and enjoy their products. That being said, they are notorious for slow shipping and poor communications. Caveat Emptor!
