Leonidas, It's a low SVD mount and rail. The mount measures 7cm from the bottom to the top not including the weaver rail.
It is centred over the bore. The rail has been thickened by welding a 1/4" ( aprox) piece of steel to the rail, this serves to centre the mount over the bore and clear the mount from the ligtening step on the side of the reciever. The reciever does not have enough meat for it to be tapped, it is paper thin. The thickened rail is tapped and screwed on from the inside of the reciever with button allan head screws. It's a very simple job to complete.
The mount is rock solid and can be atatched and detatched in five seconds.
I think if you want the right tool for the job then this is the only way to go. It improved my accuracy no end.
