Dave, wait until you actually get one before you plan on having it redone. I was positive that I wanted to get mine parkerized until it arrived. I'm interested in refinishing the entire gun, as in stripping off the paint. Are these guns constructed from steel or aluminum? Now, if I were to get the gun parkerized or anodized (depending on construction of course) do you guys think that would have a negative effect on the function of the rifle? Would some parts become too thick or too thin as a result of the new coating and cause malfunctions and the like?
