First Bull in 20 years !! BULL DOWN BULL DOWN !

With respect to that growth;

A few years back there was a short article in the BC Outdoors magazine together with a photo taken of a moose (in BC) that was completely covering with somewhat similar growths. I recall in that article they went on to say that the growths were a from of "worts" and that the meat was considered to be perfectly fine for human consumption.

I would suggest checking it out with a biologist and a butcher for that matter.

Congratulations on one fine looking moose! I see that Ontario Hunters are still required to wear their rather bold camo pattern...LOL.

Congrats to you guys yeouuuuu way to go :dancingbanana: .

That wort sure look ugly :eek: But by all the response you had, it seems more common that I thought.

Again, congratulation to you and your group! ;)

the wife says it must be a scar that got infected. She believes it is a cheloidal formation. It was important to know if the "bubu" was attached to the underskin (it was imobile in relation to the skin) or it moved freely. That would make a difference between a tumor or a scar - caused by a surface infection. the source of infection could have been a parasite, wound /..etc. She's usually right.
