First look: 14" SINSINATI 20 gauge shotgun

Put 25 rounds through this gun yesterday and it was a real pleasure to shoot.
The smooth action and loading, the way it shoulders so naturally.
The front sight is too tall, as we know. But I just compensated for test purposes. Looking forward to delivery of the new front sight.
This IS a confirmed 5+1, not 4+1 as listed. (Just FYI)
My only complaint is that I didn't bring more ammo out for it lol!
Put my other two shotguns into perspective that were out with me. This ones a real jem.

Cabelas had some Federal 20g 7/8 oz #8 shot for $6.99 today so I bought the last six boxes. Turned out being 16 cents a round in the end. Cheaper than 12g target loads, so check out Cabelas if you have access to one.

Great info Simon.
If possible I'd like to put a Magpul forend on one of my Hatsans as well as a Magpul stock if your 870 sling plate adapter works on Hatsans.

We also need one of the Sinsinati 12g owners to post a thread with pictures of that gun too.

Ill have to pick up another hastan to so that forend job
But yes will work on the hatsan to 870 magpul convertion plate.
The fabarm plates is close. But still a full rework
But as prommised will be doing it. !!

-short barrel yet non-restricted, great for tight quarters
-aluminum receiver, maybe a weight saving option right there?
-sturdy enough looking iron sights with the added ability for addition optics on that rail
-.62 caliber projectiles possibly available in rapid succession
-nice wood to boot

As long as this launcher withstands normal use and a measured degree of abuse, I myself see no downside to this little 20.

Question about the rear sight. I bought the exact same shotgun at HACS and there is no rear sight on mine, i have the tall front hood, but i have no adjustable rear sight at all. There is simply an empty space between the 2 blades? on the rear sight. I emailed Corwin arms asking if this was how it was supposed to be, and was told that "None of the shotguns have rear sight originally they had Russian battery less fiberoptic mini calumniator which we could not get approved for export"

Whats going on here? I am still somewhat of a shotgun newb so my terminology is a little off im sure. I had sort of a hard time shooting it on target as i was basically trying to guess work where to hold the front sight between the empty cavern of a rear sight.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Yea i could clearly see based on the OP's pics that as i expected , i was in fact missing the rear sight insert. The part that is puzzling me is that Corwin Arms emailed me back saying nothing was wrong.

So now i dont know what to do, its really awkward shooting it as it is right now. I didnt really want to have to buy some kind of fancy sight for the rail.

I'm sure if they see how the rifle was delivered they will make it right for you.. And yes.... I imagine it would be difficult to shoot through sights with one missing lol.
