Hi Guys and Gals. First precision rifle here after many years of shooting AR's, shotguns, and pistols. Knew I had to have one after getting to handle and shoot the bigger brother my last tour. Ross was a pleasure to deal with , wrote a little note in there section so I wont add to that.

Need some help with glass. I intend on shooting 800-1000, lets see if the skill co-operates.

This thing is pure ###y with the folding stock and the 18in barrel. The finnish on the firearm is silky smooth. Built like a freakin tank.

The bolt is really smooth, very impressed. The Canadian flag is a nice touch. The engraving is nicely done.

The folding stock has zero play or movement of any kind. Solid

I have one as well and its my go to rifle. I love it. I have been getting .25moa groups with factory ammo.
Glad to see they added a cut in the cheekpiece, because mine is a "PIA". I have to take out the allen keys every time I want to fold the stock.
I will be sending it to my friend DG this winter and he will add a cut in the cheekpiece for me. Cant wait.
enjoy the rifle.

If you want to shoot 800-1000m, you'll have to weld a 10" barrel extension onto it. :)

I like my NF 5.5-22, but I sometimes wish for more magnification at 600m.

Welcome to the Coyote Club :):).

I would suggest something in the NF 8-32NXS, or for half the money a Sightron 8-32 (and it's not half the scope; more like 95%). Of course, Schmidt and Bender make some nice glass...

X2 on those scope recommendations and preferred magnification.

Is the stock solid aluminum/ steel? Or is it a skeleton with skins like the AI?

Have you weighed it?

Not as aesthetically pleasing as a TacOps, but definitely looks functional. Has an appeal all its own. Congrats.

That's f*ckin' sick! What twist is the barrel? Any idea what the length is with the stock folded?

The all green is interesting but could use a little more black to give the look some contrast. A dark earth/black combo would look equally as good.

Money well spent on a gun deserves money well spent on a scope. 5.5-22x50 or 56mm NPR-1 would be perfect. For such a solid gun, get a scope that is equally as solid since it isn't a benchrest gun. Nightforce all the way. You definitely want 100MOA where as the 8-32 only has 65MOA.

Is this the new 308, for the canadian rangers ?

nice looking rifle - wish my high capacity mag would show up ....
