just a suggestion, instead of trying to duplicate someone else's handload. Why not do yourself & your rifle a huge favour & take everyone's advise on here. Develop a load that your rifle like's, start at a min load and work up . Do a ladder test, then as stated earlier play with your seating depth to tweak your load. You stated that you are going to shoot long range, well do it the right way. It will pay off in the long run, & you also stated that you got your load from a trusted friend & he has been reloading for a while, well I have to ask if he has been reloading for a while, then why would he give you or any body else a over max starting load for a gun that he never did a load development for. Your friend should teach you the right way....The Safe Way......
