Flame thrower? Restricted or non restricted

It will get your neighbours calling the cops and cops will attend as you're clearing snow but there isn't #### they can do unless you demonstrate unsafe use or unstable state of mind.

I thought I read somewhere some guy tried to bring in a a bunch was denied importation. Anyone recall this?

I read about them in recoil magazine. They showed the letter the government of Canada sent to them and showed their response letter it was funny. They put Terrance and Philip on it. the government wanted a list of all Canadians that bought one with addresses and info they had on them. They basically told the government to take a hike.

As much as I would like one of these the risk reward ratio if something goes wrong is not worth it.

My main concern would be buying carbon credits to offset the 101 uses I would put it to. It is illegal to use it for hunting, which is a shame, since it would be first rate for bear defense.

If it has a national stock number (ie a military flame thrower) it is a controlled good and therefore pretty much prohib for the average Joe that isn't CGD registered.

In this case you are basically looking at a glorified Bic lighter witch can be used for such things as forestry controll so not prohib.

If you guys keep dedicating page after page rambling about it it will surly become completely prohib because some entities that monitor this site have already expressed concern about it.

Not prohib - this really is just a torch, just so happens it can throw a flame about 30 feet
