I was the OP for GTA thread, but shthousebenny will be organizing the group-buy. I'm sure whenever greentips/CGN Admin gets around to giving their approval, there'll be another thread put up. Several actually, since a bunch of cities got their threads deleted. GTA, Calgary, GVRD and Winnipeg at last count. I'm sure there'll be more.
In the meantime, you can always send shthousebenny a pm...

Apparently these items are selling out rather quickly and it would be a shame to miss on them because of... whatever it is that is causing this delay.

You can set up a group-buy for the Montreal area... just make sure you get approval first.
Then get the pricing info from Lockhart Tactical site, start a thread here in their forum and see how many are interested...

There was interest in a 100 units in Calgary, but a mod deleted the whole thread. The organizer is deciding whether to start it again... if he opts not to, someone else will have to start a new Calgary group-buy thread. (that is, after getting approval from the admin). I would wait a day to see if the Calgary thread pops back up...

Hey guys, we're really sad to have to have to do this, but today when placing a massive order from MFG, they informed us that they just raised their prices a few dollars per unit.
We've kept the 3 tier pricing, and we're eating all the cost on the top two tiers. On the bulk buys, we had to go up a few dollars.
We don't get free shipping even when we're spending like 50K $ from the MFG.
We pay shipping to us, and then we have shipping going out to clients of course.
Flat rate shipping for bulk orders which we also lose money on.
Once again we're very sorry!

Cost on refills is set for sure at 24.99, we just got this info today.
It will be 1-2 day turn around time. Very fast.
We have to replace a lot of parts on the device to ensure it is 100% safe for use. We don't want ANYONE getting hurt.
Anyone who has a group buy in currently, may have a 100% refund if they are not okay with the changes.
We will contact everyone shortly with an order that hasn't already shipped.
Once again... our hands are tied, and we can't go bankrupt losing money on units we are ordering in.

We had a member from here contact the MFG today calling them direct. If anyone has questions, please email us direct or call us. We're happy to help.
WE did NOT change the pricing on our own initiative as a greedy cash grab.
The MFG increased the costs on us based off of changes from their suppliers. In turn, we had to go up. We're talking about a lot of units here. We aren't a massive company like Cabelas yet, and as much as we'd like to be able to have the finances kicking around to eat all the costs from changes that are 100% out of our control, we simply can't.
We are doing our absolute best to have units available for sale, as well as stocked a massive amount of refill kits for prompt servicing.
Our sales rep was horrified to tell us about the price increase and they were pulling their hair out just as much as we are.
Their part suppliers cost went up, their costs went up, our costs went up and in turn we had to make the end unit price go up.
Once again, WE DID NOT WANT INCREASES! It hurts all of us.
For everyone who says our word means nothing to them, We apologize you feel that way. Like I said above, we AREN'T a massive store. Every customer IS important to us. We don't want to lose a single person. After we contacted our sales rep to order a bunch of new units we tried to get better pricing as we're purchasing in bulk. It would only make sense that when you are spending that kind of money, that there are price breaks for us too... We got the quotes back and they were much more worse than before and that's with very large quantities. Sometimes things come up and all we can do is be honest with our clients and hope for the best.
Every nightmare you feel, is felt ten fold by us.
We thank everyone for their patience and understanding as we all get through this.
Like we stated before, these prices will hold solid for at least a year. Refill kits will be fully stocked with turn around times being 1-2 days!
