The recoil is now a sweet maidens caress.

Well, not quite, but certainly better, and changing the angle of the butt cut seriously reduced the muzzle jump.

I want to try the flip flop on a rifle. From looking either I can use a industrial double sided tape of glue? What would be a good glue if I want to do something?

We used contact cement!

Haven’t tried double-sided tape, but it would be interesting to see how well it works if you try that.

Water-base contact cement is really duck soup simple to use, and no concerns at all with carcinogenic or harmful organic solvents. See post #200 above.

Good to know! I don't have waterbased contact cement, though I have the solvent type. Probably best if I use the stinky stuff, use it outside.

I've been meaning to try this on a Husqvarna M98 9.3x57, I've got the wingspan of a Condor and I find the stock too long and top end loads are a bit brisk for my taste.

Dang! Been busy helping Dad on the farm. Now that it's quited down I should be able to get too it.

I have a stock that I stripped the paint off of that\s going to get the flip flop.
