Hi folks I'm looking for a little direction please. I am seeking a new (to me) do everything pistol in 9mm near the bottom of the price range ($550 or less). I am looking for a gun to have fun with at the range and want to start doing some steel challenge matches. It doesn't need to look pretty or have a brand name attached to it. I am relatively new to pistol shooting but I have owned a Norinco and Hi-Point in the past. Not knocking those 2 brands but I want to get away from them.
So far I have found a used S&W M&P9 in my price range, I have shot one and really liked it. I have also seen the new FMK 9C1 listed online for under $470.00 and like the idea of not inheriting someones problems.
I am not near a major center where I can go try out a bunch of stuff so handling everything is a no go.
What can you fine knowledgeable folks tell me?
TLDR I want a 9mm for under $550 what do I get?
