It was crazy expensive... IMO

By the time it was shipped I was looking at over $110 CDN for 50 rounds...

Needless to say I didnt buy any.

I agree $110 is Crazy.
But if you need for you 5.7 pistol.
then you need buy some.

it costs what it costs...........

Yeah, well I am not about to just buy it cause "it costs what it costs"...
I know importing isnt easy, but I have seen posts on the fiveseven fourms that say ammo in States is 18-20 a box... so I will wait and see what pops up.

Like I mentioned before I am talking with a guy about getting some Brass and reloading my own... much more reasonable.

We have lots of 5.7x28 in stock and it is not cheap even for me. But to be honest I doubt it ever will be. Sure the stuff is cheaper in the states because its plentiful and the dealers have easy access to it. Here in Canachuck we are limited and have to pay more because its "special" . Don't forget too its not as popular as 40 and 9 and probably never will be so do not expect a price decrease for awhile. Hey I shoot a 10mm for the last 9 years and the price never went down. And please do not reply saying " well our dollar is the same as the states, well I don't buy from the states" so that does not count. Just remember my post is not to offend anyone its just to remind you its new and not cheap on either ends, When I always sell a Five-Seven I tell the buyer its better to reload.

A brass monkey... haha thats good.
Yeah, I mean right now the easiest way to actually get the ammo at a cost effective price is to have some once fired and reload.

Does he want to sell it?

Whats it worth... to be honest, I dont really know... not around here anyway... mainly because I have never seen anyone with any to sell.

on the fiveseven forum I found:

300 - $40
1149 - $110
1366 - $150
269 - $30
300 - $40 (another one)
495 - $55
200 - $40
500 - $60

Now all of those are in the states... but they appear to all be in the 10-15 cent range.

You were guessing before on how many rounds they had, correct?
