FN C1A1 - Prohibited?

unfortuntely, never happen- we can't even get the prohibs on c-68 oics reversed- the fn has been at least restricted since 75, when turdeau was in power

Neat fact , the FN FAL was actually non restricted at one point right before it went back to being restricted , then prohibited . So there must have been some reasoning for that at some point right ?

FN went from nonrestricted back to restricted after dealers like Lever flooded the country with thousands of cheap FNs in the early 80's. That got the attention of politicians in Ottawa and the rest is history.

Moral of the story is: Always keep a fun toy under the radar and out of sight from the politicians.

While I'm still in the picture mood. I picked this up right here.

This is one of the last accessories the CF had for our FNC1A1. It is a MILES laser unit made by Simfire in the U.K.

The cable is used for sighting in the laser unit to the rifle.

The vest with sensors also has the helmet webbing attached. The umpires pistol can be used to be the enemy forces, as well as re-starting the vest.

Much to my son's delight, we can irritate the heck out of my wife in the house, now that I've found the correct batteries.

more likey a glitch in the paperwork- when that container from israel docked, it had isreali pattern fns in it as well- those were probably the unrestricted ones as they didn't know WHERE in the "system" to stick them- remember, there were g3s. aand real m14s in there as well, and the reason they were unresticted at that time was they "didn't fit" in the system- so they HAD to classify them as unrestricted- the fns were resticted, but not prohibs at that time- that was the reason i picked the m14 over the fn- that and it WAS a "sniper " rifle
