I have one with about 2500 rounds through it without issue and very good accuracy. I did find that in my specific example 115 gr shot less well than 124 and 147, not horrible, but it was noticeable, especially when shooting plates at more than 25m. The mag issue is minimal IMO, I have 7 and find them to be very well made and reliable, easy to disassemble and clean - while mags are a training consumable I think that these should wear well, no issue thus far.
While I agree that the grip texturing is aggressive enough, I find it to be poorly placed with no texturing where I really need it (higher up on the grip, back and sides) - I fixed this by wrapping a strip of grip tape on the offending real estate and problem solved. I filled the dot on the front sight in with orange paint and blacked out the dots on the rear with a sharpie - much better, I'm just not a 3 dot kind of guy...
I know this is going to offend the Glockophiles, but I think that the FNS is a better mousetrap, albeit with less factory and aftermarket support. I don't have a copy in .40 but may look for one as I find that caliber easier to reload than the 9...
