Drool! Nice rifle, nice scope, nice caliber, heck, even a nice tree in the background! Still waiting for my Cooper 6.5x284. I'm officially jealous!

Nice rifle, but an 11lb sporting rifle would be the deal breaker for me.

.

We (son and I) are suckers for heavy firearms. Most of our guns are heavy but accustom to their weight and comfortable with the lighter recoil in the magnums.:D

I assume it's a 26" tube to weigh that much, love the wood. I'd take it.

Yep, it has a 26 inc barrel, however; the scope is a 50 mm objective and those Ken Farrell rings and base weigh a ton. This Cooper is the second heaviest of all three that we own.

I was going to make a Remington joke but thought better of it. Nice rifle BTW.

BEAUTIFUL WOOD!
I would be afraid to take that out into the bush as I am sure I would Fu*k it up.
Does it shoot as good as it looks?
SRSA311

I personally know three gentlemen in Canada who will fix/repair any scratch, gouge, etc to perfection in case something happens. It does shoot as good as it looks................hence their 50 yard test target. Because of the bird season upon us and big game soon after, load development will only occur this winter (something to do during the long winter). I might be able to get to the range once this fall but I know that I won't be using it this hunting season.
