forum or subforum for gun dogs ?

Make it sporting dogs... dogs that hunt, dog's n' guns etc...

Nothing will kill the thread faster than Lester writing three pages about his fru-fru wonder-muffin poodle, "Pookie."
 
I was in favour of this and still am. Would likely attract some new advertisers too, because the sporting dog equipment industry is booming, note to the mods
 
I would love to see an active forum. Our little guy is three months old and I would like to get as much info so he will be a star come duck/goose season next year.

How about I sticky a thread on Gun dogs as a start? A new subforum tends to dilute the threads but a sticky might be a good place to start?
 
I am down to just one beagle now ,had to put my old girl down last winter after she got very sick,..the one I have now is a pup from the old girl and I run her on deer and rabbits ,,,I grew up with hounds and as a kid we spent every day in the woods chasing bunnys in front of them ,,My family ran coon hounds and red bones walkers and black and tans on coyotes all winter and would travel to the usa for coon trials ..it is just part of the family to have hounds ,,,Dutch
