i was up at the cabin last weekend scouting for new hunting grounds for this upcomming season and stumbled across this little guy...a healthy 6X7. hopefully his big brother is still around!!
I'm guessing that the OP is a bachelor, or he has a very understanding wife...I shudder to think about the fallout for putting a dirty, probably still smelly deer skull in the middle of the kitchen table!

Sorry, but I just can't see the glory in it that you guys are expressing!
I just see a run of the mill, mid sized three point mule deer head, which happens to have gone non typical.
Lots of hunters leave such heads in the bush, staying legal by leaving evidence of ### on the hind quarter.
Non typical antlers are commonly found on bucks that are past their prime in years. So, it may have been an old buck, or there may have been some other reason for it being non typical.
