Howdy,
I came across an older Winchester model 52. From what I can determine it looks like maybe 1946 mfg. Ser. no. 55***. It is in pretty good shape. It has a rear target sight made by Veaver ( not sic, it is not a Weaver) the sight is milled into the top of the receive by a large dovetail; looks somewhat strange to me, but I think I have seen this before. The action is tapped on side for sight as well. Has sling and handstop. These are really quite nice rifles w. a solid action. Was going for $800. Not an Annie, but nice American make. Anybody have any info on this model and worth? Thanks for looking.
