Hats off to Patrick, Rick and all who helped out to make this the best shoot yet. Weather started a bit cloudy and blustery but quickly transitioned into calm winds and blue sky.
We had the best collection of guns yet, in particular a stunning display of circa 1860ish pinfire shotguns, an equally beautiful group of slightly newer hammer guns and not one but two "between the wars" Purdeys. A lightweight Churchill style game gun and, if I have it correctly a more substantial live pigeon gun.
Other well known makers represented were Holland, Boss, Lancaster, Wesley Richards, Greener and many more. A great time was had by all.
