Fourth Double Gun Classic (Side by Side Get Together)

It is coming up on a year since we held our last Double Gun Classic so it is time to get together again. Oshawa Skeet & Gun Club has once again agreed to let us meet up at their club and like last year, they will provide us with a dedicated skeet field. (The club has skeet, trap & sporting clays)

Please note that this is an informal get together for those of us that enjoy SxS's. No scores or competitions. Also, this is not being organized by the Oshawa Skeet and Gun Club so please do not contact them regarding our get together. They are simply being good enough to let us meet up at their club. Send me a PM if you have a question.

Like previous years, we will have an award for the "Best Gun" as voted by everyone attending. Hopefully we can get a good group out, enjoy seeing some side by sides and have a good time! Let us know if you can make it.

As a reminder, everyone is welcome irregardless of whether or not you have a SxS. Hopefully a few other groups can get together in other locations as well.

I'd love to see them but I guess that might be up to the Oshawa Club. Patrick?

I have Damascus barrelled breechloaders; don't know if the smoke would be an issue for other shooters.
Also have muzzleloading shotguns. Muzzleloaders are slower to load, could slow down a round of trap for other shooters. If there were a squad with muzzleloaders, this would not be an issue.

Tiriaq, I hope you can make it out. If Patrick confirms black is ok (my experience is people love to see them in action) then will squad up with you for a round of ML. I also don't mind if we just load once at each station for total of 16 shots rather than 25. That would not slow anyone down.

I believe we checked last year and they were not allowed and going by the FAQ on their website it doesn't look like it. Perhaps a member will know. I will try to find out from the club.

Lucky for me , my club does not care if I shoot My BP guns on the skeet range or trap range!
