I just got these photos from my gunsmith. He is building two identical rifles (except for the colour of the stocks) for me and a friend.
Ron Smith Barrels
McMillan A5 Stocks with freeland rails
Jewell triggers
US Optics Scopes, anticant levels and Rings
VersaPod Bipods
and...

PGW Timberwolf Actions - 300 WinMAg

After a lengthy and understandable wait I hear the actions are ready to be shipped.

I'll post more photos of the actions when they finally arrive and the rifles as they start to take shape.

(Sorry for posting such large photos I haven't figured out how to make them smaller yet.)

Yep I know that freezer to:dancingbanana: good choice. Those US optics scopes are increadable you will be very happy with them and I know you will have increadable rifles when they are together. Until then would you mind if I borrowed one of your US optics for my .50?:p :D Be sure to PM me when they are done and let me know how it all works for ya.

Fraternal Twins on the way

JNG,
Who is your gunsmith, I need some work done with a new barrel installation.

I know that room well. When I go in there I'm not allowed to stop clapping :D

Good call JNG. So far it looks like a nice pile o' parts. I hope h egets to the trigger job and bedding on my RSM before your actions show up.

Those are going to be very nice rifles!

I want to know what is in the freezer, or is that the CRYO chamber!:D

Ask him if he would be willing to build a rifle on a Norinco action and I bet you will get to see what's in the freezer.;) Better yet tell him you saw a write up on custom Norinco's on CGN and heard he was the guy to make it happen.:p ::ar15: :dancingbanana: :dancingbanana: :dancingbanana: You will definately see whats in the Freezer!:D

Sorry Im a little on the twisted side at times.:)

Ahhh the "infamous " freezer. What lurks within it??
Only " he who shall not be named " knows for sure
But it is a nice non scratch top to park guns on.
Maybe that is where the customers who need to chill out go???

JNG,

Are you the reason I'm waiting for my Rock Creek barrel? I heard they'll be here in a few weeks that way I'll get my rifle out of that shop. He also sells the Nosler brass which I bought 150 of. Very fine choice of components, I'm sure they'll shoot like a house of fire. Congrats.

Everytime I pass through Calgary I make a point of stopping by for a visit to "He who shall not be named". I was just there the other afternoon and conducted a maditory Federal Goverenment mandated inspection of the "Freezer". Its unfortunate for all waiting for the result as I will not be able to release my findings due to issues surrounding the Privacy Act, its policies and regulations.

I did, however, view some very nice finished and in progress firearms, including a couple of black and green Mcmillan stocks, lucky buggers.

I use the Nosler brass for reloading my .300 win mag, they are outstanding!! I know you will like them.:)

Well hallelujah! I just heard today that the actions from PGW are coming next week! I don't blame PGW for taking so long, our soldiers should come first, but it has been a painful wait.
Photos of the actions will be posted soon!

Maybe I need to stop in Cowtown on my way home and fondle your rifle ahead of time, like I've done to a few members. Maybe even take some quick snaps of me playing with the beasties to post on the board. Shoulda done that with Brian's rifle!
