Starline is what i would reccomend, their brass is great. I can confirm it works well without any rims dragging or binding the cylinder. The expanding die should remove the bottleneck and expand the case mouth at the same time.

how much gr of Trail Boss do you think i should use with a 125 gr projectile ? sized to .329
use the expander die in your 8mmLR Hornady die set to take out the bottleneck.
Had good results with Starline and Winchester, not good with Remington.
I used a simpler method to convert 32-20 to 8mm LR:
1. Trim to length
2. Chamfer
3. Run through FL sizing die
4. Run through expanding die
Cases are now ready to load and shoot regular load
Note - this works nicely with Hornady die set and Starline + Winchester brass, can't vouch for other brands.

Powder load will also depend on the COL. Never compress Trail Boss powder.

Where did you order the dies from, had a special order with a store named Latulippe in quebec but they still dont have it and its been like 2 months

Yes, if lead, you can start with 2.6 grains of Trail Boss. I would bet you will see optimal accuracy with around 3.1 to 3.3 grains. You can push the load to 3.5 grains without worry.
Recently acquired one of these pistols and I am looking to acquire more info on it? It has no letter prefix and only a double digit serial on the frame., but has been refurbished at one point with another revolver from the 25000 range. If anyone could pm that'd be great!

Just my two cents
Got some spare time and loaded some cartriges for my 8mm Lebel rev.
Two on the right side: TMJ 100g Berry's bullet and FT 110g JetBullet.
What diameter of Berry's bullet are you using?
I'm shooting .330" cast in mine though I've heard some are tighter around .323". I didn't think they had anything between .312" and .355" in pistol bullets.
Total metal jacket Berry's bullets are .330" diameter.

I prefer lead bullets as they are softer and easy on the bore.
But at the end of shooting session it is a good practice to shoot one or two jacketed in order to clean the lead slug/fouling in the bore.

Are you using small pistol or small rifle primers?
Had the same bad esperience with small rifle primers in 32-20 Remington brass trimmed for the Lebel revolver.
Actually 32-20 brass is designed for the small pistol primers.
Main difference btw small pistol and small rifle primers is that small pistol once seat deeper and small rifle once are sticking out just a little.
So no issues with 32-20 Starline brass and S&B small pistol primers.
