I have yet to go to the shooting range and have a successful, worry-free, problem-free shoot with my SKS. I've had it slamfire and sprain my thumb, I've had it not cycle properly many times, and recently, I was shooting with a friend, and I was sitting with a benchrest. I fired a round, pulled the trigger again, and nothing. I checked the action and the front end of the casing was stuck inside the chamber. All that cycled out was a small portion of the back end of a shell, and the primer was popped out; it looked like the casing had been sliced. What happened THIS time? Is it the ammo?
