I've done the 110 grain .308/30 Carbine bullets as plinking loads in my 308 Win. Accuracy is not as good as jacketed bullets, but it's not totally awful either. Great fun for the $$$.
Frontier is fine. You might also want to try AIM projectiles who are a sponsor of this site and are located in Ontario. Their bullets are comparable or better than the Frontiers. I just use AIM now, and by the thousands.

Sounds like a frontier love in. I used to shoot frontier in my old 1911 a1. It would group 5 inches at 25 yards. I casted 230 grains from wheel weights which closed the groups on the old colt to 3 inches.
