UPDATE on post #8 http://www.canadiangunnutz.com/foru...in-my-CZ75?p=12687347&viewfull=1#post12687347
Today I received my set of brand new thin safeties for my CZ 75 Shadow SP-01.
I bought them from a fellow CGN'er, well I had no choice, they are sold out everywhere.
I disassembled the parts needed and when I was about to install the thin safeties, found out that the left side shaft of the safety don't fit in the hole of the right side.
I can't beleive at the price they sell those parts, they don't even check if they fit together.
I am a machinist and I know these parts should not be loose but they should work.
The fit of the factory parts is good but there is no way the shaft will enter in the hole.
I felt a small burr on the outside diameter of the shaft so I removed it with a swiss file... still don't fit.
At this point, I will have to bring it to my job, takes some measurements and figure out where to slightly remove material.
Then I will have to pay someone to reblue the safeties.
That's very frustrating !
The only positive point is I learned alot of the *how it works* of this pistol and I was able to reassemble it without any issues, thanks to this video :

Anybody came across this problem with the thin safeties ?
