Full Auto Experience.......

Dillon still has availlable the tape "Firestorm in the desert" I don't know if it will play in Canada as the format is NTSC rather than PAL.
Like knob creek, but they also had radio controlled model aircraft to shoot at plus the usual blow-em -up stuff.

It's really interesting to see a quad 50 with the barrels glowing red. Another guy had a minigun mounted on the quad mount with a 3000 round magazine.

They also have a DVD titled "Machine gun magic."

Canada is NTSC as well. Europe is PAL. :D

This was on the Gun store anyone one on here try this package!

Sounds like $350 well spent in my mind!

SHOOT THE WALL PACKAGE: M249 Saw, M16 (9mm), M4 (.223), MP5, RPK, AK47, MADSEN, STEN, THOMPSON,
GREASE GUN, UZI, MP40 for $349.95 (25 rounds with each Machine Gun)

Adanac00

My old man had a full auto Thompson and Sten when I was growing up. We used to fire full auto half a mile behind our house. I was probably the only kid in my elementary that ever fired a full auto. Years later my C7 still wasn't as good as the Tommy gun. Canadians are missing out big time. It's like never being able to take the condom off:(

Well I don't have to go to "Lost Wages" to shoot that stuff.
Vickers
Bren
Lewis
Sten
The problem is feeding them plus there is a mutual friend that has arthritis in his trigger finger. (he just can't seem to release the trigger once he starts)

Here's a novel thought for you civies...

..who are fascinated by these things. Why not apply to join the Army, regular or reserve if you are between the ages of 17-35,physically fit,and psychologically amenable to military training and discipline? You will have the opportunity to fire a number of interesting FA pieces for free, and will get paid for doing so. You will also have an opportunity to serve your country in the process.

Damn right...time for the kids to ante up and chip in.
This is an opportunity of a lifetime.
My regret...not signing up as a post teenager...now too freakin old for that stuff.

Not to mention cleaning floors, making beds and walking back and forth while shouting gibberish out loud. ;)

As I said it is a bit expensive.

It generally runs you $50 for the use of the firearm and first mag. (50 rounds for a SMGs and I think 30 rounds on the M4). Every mag after that was $25. So all in all about $300 for 300 rounds of .45ACP and 90 rounds of .223.

I don't gamble much so I would rather blow my money downrange as opposed to the tables or slots.

You can find discount vouchers at some of the car rental places on the strip...... $5 off isn't much but its still $5.

I did this a few years back and noted that the reciepts don't give the name of the store - the staff's reaction "oh yeah, we get plently of people in here with clients who expense it as a "lunch"" :D

Making beds and washing floors are useful life skills. These and others which you will develop, incl doing your own laundry, ironing your clothes, rolling socks, keeping your bed space tidy, maintaining a high level of personal hygiene, getting up on time, and eating everything on your plate, will make your moma proud of you.

Now as far as shouting gibberish out loud;well, from what I see on these forums, that seems to be an unlearned skill that most people already posess in some degree of abundance. Difference is when you shout in the Army, something will happen. When you shout on the internet, nothing will happen.

Other worthwhile skills which you will develop are confidence,self-motivation and leadership in stressful and demanding circumstances. Bonuses include parades, medals, pretty girls, travel to exotic and unheard of places, and an occasional free beer. Downsides are modest pay, disruptive personal life, and maybe getting to be a target for somebody else's FA marksmanship.

When i was in Vegas this summer i got a chance to lay down 120 rounds through a M249

Best shooting experience of my life

Full Autos

A friend of mine went to Vegas for the SOF conventions years ago and he went to a few places to shoot full-autos. I think there were some guys that went to the convention and brought SMGs and heavy full-autos to shoot in the desert, but cheaper than the stores.
He always had a great time and he shot anything he wanted to. Lucky S**t.

The only full-autos I have fired are:
MP40
C1 SMG
FN C2
1928 Thompson
M1 A1 Thompson
Ingram M10 .45 cal.
Sten
UZI
S&W 76
Sterling SMG
Mag 58
M16

Thats when ammo was cheap and easy to find.
My favorites are the, UZI, 1928 Thompson, & MP40

I don't give a damn what anyone says, next time i'm in vegas I am taking the $777 VIP Package. 7 pistols, 7 rifles and 7 full autos, plus free drinks a private range, as many targets as you want a free duffle bag with stuff in it and a t-shirt.

I have fired the usual suspects:

C7
C8
C9
C6
M2 .50

South of the border

Missouri full auto meet (John Ross' collection)
Thompson .45
MP5
Uzi (suppressed)
Glock 18
Stechkin Machine pistol

Las Vegas: American Shooter (better prices than the Gun Store, better attitude, cool guns)
Kriss Super V .45
Glock 18 (yeah, again, couldn't help it)

Michigan:
Mp43
Mp40

Also when down in the states I have bump fired a few guns but that doesn't really count

my favourites so far are the thompson and stechkin

Things must have changed as I just checked and my receipts and they say 'The Gun Store' on both register bill and the MC receipt..........Maybe you have to ask for the 'Special' receipt.
