Looking for the definitive answer. Will a full choke barrel be damaged if used with slugs? Does anyone have proof (pictures?) of a full choke barrel damaged by slugs?

Consider the following:
1. When Foster slugs were first introduced in the 1930s, the most common choke was full and most hunters had one shotgun they used for everything. Specialized guns for shooting slugs did not exist until the 1950s.
2. Have you ever seen a warning on a box of slugs against firing them out of a full-choked barrel? Given the litigious society we live in, it seems improbable that manufacturers would neglect to include a warning if there was an issue.
Rifles shotgun slug guns existed long before the 50's used in Africa and India with leaf sights clear out to 300yards + for ball + conicle.
