You should have started earlier. Early 1992, if you bought 20 cases, they would be delivered out of Montreal for less than $1K. That included bayonets, cleaning and parts kits, slings. If they came in crates, they were usually factory fresh FTRs. The odd time you could luck out and all the rifles would be new unissued but late 1944-45 dated, with matching numbers.in 2011 i was buying them by the 20 in a sealed case for 90$ ea

They also sold the ammo, 50 crates on a pallet, but the minimum order was 5 pallets. Shipping that ammo cost as much as the ammo back then.
You couldn't give them away back then, other than to a few collectors, most of whom wanted to rip apart every crate.
I got tired of those boys quickly and just started taking the rifles to gun shows a crate at a time. Same money, less hassle.
