Fun with the M1A/M14/M305 platform

The old muscle sounds waaaaaaaaaay better than the new ones in my opinion.

My favorite was a Ram Air 460 H.O. Pontiac (30 over 455) with a street-able lumpy cam exiting large diameter twice pipes.
You could load this one with stripper clips :dancingbanana:

AR guys don't enjoy such cars because the safety (high beams) are activated on the floor (within the trigger guard).

They come from the same period of time as the original muscle cars. In a way both are unrefined but effective and classic. And before anyone says the 64 GTO was the first please don't forget the 413, 409, 421, 392, 406, 383 among others.

I know there's a ton of writings on what engine/car started the first Detroit Muscle car era, but I recall the Ford 352 Interceptor V-8 of 1958 started the craze in passenger vehicles, and Detroit didn't look back till around '71 that is.
