Funker Tactical SILENCED AR-15 KILL BILL TEST!?

Can you understand the reasons for my doubts as it seems a proper testing was circumvented on purpose?

I'd LOVE to see a description of "official / proper testing" of this kind of thing. I have seen all kinds of ad hoc mud and water tests of all kinds of different rifles and not one of them is the same. In most cases the dust cover is closed where in this test the dust cover was not. So it is kinda difficult to circumvent a standard that doesn't exist.

Try not to take yourself so seriously. Life is too short.

Because no one likes punishing a rifle more than me; Ill post a thread on our section and people can submit "torture test" suggestions. We'll pick some and do it. Be creative, but remember it has to be a test we can actually do.

I did one a few years back. It took everything we gave it.

In fact even after all that testing that gun got over 100K rounds through it. It's not a fair fight when you start testing against a machine like the VZ.

That was crap. I'm sure all the 13 year old airsofters loved it though for all it's hard core action.

It was nice to see someone shooting it without parts falling off of it or some catastrophic failure. How was that 19 lbs trigger pull we keep hearing about?

Raise your standards man

Every gun has pros and cons, so with just the pros being discussed, I found that video played more like an add for NEA. I would caution against falling into that trap, even if they are donating prizes to give viewers. Completely ignoring the issues they have had takes away from your credibility in the future.

I really enjoyed the m14 one that you guys did because I found it informative and entertaining and unique in that regard. This one was not really unique, it is sort of what you would expect from one of the gun rags that never say a bad thing about potential sponsors.

Just my opinion.

Completely ignoring "past" issues. We have moved on, so should you. Give it a try before judging. If he didn't find any cons during his shoot and review than we did our job.. sweet. Many things have changed. In the grand scheme of things we have had a very small percentage of issues. And with guns shipping weekly that percentage shrinks. The fact is that the overwhelming majority of our customers share the same sentiment. They just don't spend all their time on message boards raving like some of our "lessthanfans" do. It's the nature of the beast.

They asked us to donate product because they give away the products they review after each episode. We obviously weren't going to give them a entire rifle. The guy doing the review was an actual customer of SFRC and paid for his rifle like everyone else. No smoke and mirrors. I am more than happy that they had fun, we had fun, the products performed as they should have and in the end we were given a positive review. If they didn't like it, I'm sure that we'd be having a completely different discussion. I'm glad we're not.

I am not a hater. Actually if you guys would make a 20" 1/7 or 1/8 barrel I would be buying it. I just like reviews to show pros and cons. Like I said, every gun has pros and cons. I think that sometimes these sorts of "shows" go off track because they don't want to upset potential sponsors.

I didn't call you a hater, just asked that people try it before they pass judgment. We had some past issues that we had to get past and some people are still stuck on those isolated and past issues. It's left a bit of a stigma with some, but that's something that WE have to get over and once again prove our product. The VAST majority of our rifles have had zero issues. We sometimes have to keep that in mind and not let the negativity get to us. There'll always be people either unconvinced or unwilling.

You can't make everyone happy. Everyone has to make their own decision based on their needs and wants. For us, it brings discussion and if there's ever anything that someone doesn't like about our product we look at it. Our products, especially our rifles, are improved from batch to batch. We are constantly making improvements to the design, materials, etc. We're not going to be happy until people have run out of things to complain about. .. so we'll be doing this for a while. ;)

If people think that even the big names in rifles don't have issues you're kidding yourselves. Speaking with consultants we've worked with we're FAR ahead of the curve on that side.

With more guns getting into the hands of the public, more people like Funker Tactical will talk about it. Like here, some will like it, some won't. Some will offer suggestions, some won't. They did and I'm happy for that. Do I expect that will be the final word on it? Not likely.

wow the same haters still hating?

its funny how the people who actually OWN the guns love them, even the very few people who had an issue (which is always fixed by NEA, at their cost, very quickly) like their NEA's.

someone buries a DD gun the dirt, it works flawlessly after= great reliability test
someone buries a NEA gun in the dirt, it works flawlessly after= they must have Photoshopped the gun exploding out of the test

I'll be the first to say that we've earned the skepticism. But we've always done the best we could to produce a top shelf product and support it. We've hit some bumps, but we've always taken our licks and learned from it.

You say Haters gonna hate.. Wait for it.. haters gonna love soon.. ;)
