besides, who cares what NON owners say about a gun they DO NOT OWN, and likely have not shot in any real way.
I put 500rounds through an NEA in one day, did 180+ round strings of rapid fire (well as rapid as a semi auto with lar-10 magas can be) ran the barrel hot enough to fry bacon, with no cleaning/lube,
and I still had guys acting like I did the whole thing with "white gloves" on so to speak
its Ok to be skeptical, but there is a point where skepticism becomes denigration and isnt helpful/informative/truthful
it is NOT giving anyone a free pass, to buy a rifle, find that is a great rifle, especially for a grand, and say as much.
NEA barrels are very high quality, this has been known since well before they started making the whole AR,
their rifles are also very high quality, and unlike other manufacturers, if you get an oops you will be taken care of at no cost to you in a very timely manner.
I am still waiting for smith and wesson or colt to give a s**t about me, but thats another story.
go bash norinco, they have been shipping tons of rifles with broken/no extractor inserts and guys have had to buy new BCG's as well since the one they got was broken.
at their own expense of course
