ok not me but my unlces friend
the where hunting in southern manitoba back in the 80's, in the hills south of treherne. there's a bunch of them, thy where about 20-22 years old. ones using some sort of semi, and all of sudden they hear him empty his magazine. comes stumbling thru the bush
"deer....big deer...really big deer"
so they go take a look, and as you've probably already guessed it wasn't a deer but a bull elk.not too common for that area but still there. so it iwas dead already so they loaded it onto a flatbed, and piled hay around it, and drove through town very cautiously, as not to attract attention. decided one of the best places to stash it was one of my grandfathers empty graineries. that lasted all of 2 days, till he found. took a strip of my uncle told him to "cut it up and get it the hell out of there, and make sure you get you get the good parts!"
