Does Google Translate have an "Afrikaans to Bogan" option?
WhelanLad,
Now let me start over...my apologies for anything that offended you!!
Folks on 24hr CF seem very pleased with Jim Hackiewicz of Hunting Adventures. He had a really good post on that site's Africa forum about Eastern Cape vs Northern Provinces (basically indigenous vs transplanted).
You may want to look at a map. Malawi isn't part of South Africa. It is in southern Africa, but it's a long way from South Africa.

You might want to read these too.

And, of course, you can't just take firearms with you.
Are you sure it's Malawi? That's a skinny little country in between Tanzania, Zambia and Mozambique.
There is good hunting to be had in RSA but it will almost certainly be behind wire. How big an area depends on the operator but they vary from very small to enormous. The joke is that any farmer with a half an acre and a duiker is a PH so you will definitely want to do your due diligence. I would start by checking out the PHASA (Professional Hunters Association of South Africa) website at www.phasa.co.za/and visiting their members via the links on the members drop down.
