G17 mistake, pls help!

how did you manage to pull the trigger after you removed the slide? With my glock, the trigger has to be depressed in order to remove the slide.

I was able to take the slide and barrel off, but now it doesn't go in. Here are new pictures.

does the striking pin look bent or is that how it is suppose to be?

some areas at the back look scratch to me. right on the middle of the gun behind the 2 little dots it's scratched.

Yes it's supposed to be like that. Read the manual carefully and reassemble it making sure the rear of the guide rod is settled properly.

now what i did to take it apart was to move the slide back, than i pressed the trigger and held the slide back with my hand while bringing the locking block pin down and bringing the slide out, this time with a little bit of force

Yes and read it a few times on top of that. Judging by the pics of how you messed up your Glock you have no idea how it works.

Hey we've all been there! I have had to take a few guns into my local smith that I couldn't get back together.

well I am able to put it back together, but I can not do it as smoothly as the video. When I put the slide back in it gets stuck, as if something is on the way, but in order to bring it back all the way I have to bring down both sides of the slide lock and than I am able to dry fire and re #### it. not sure why it gets stuck though, anyone have any ideas?

BOTH sides of the slide lock? The slide stop is only on the right side unless the new models have an ambi one. You should be able to #### it by pullling the slide back about 1/4" until you feel or hear a click.
That's all it takes to #### it.
PS I am not familiar with the new spring system but the spring should no protrude in front of the slide as in your pics. I think it's in backwards.

You really gotta read the manual. You dry fire, pull and hold the slide back a smidgen, pull down the holding tab thingy, and then slide it out the front. You shouldn't need to force out front.

yup, your spring looks backwards....pull her apart gently, sometimes it takes a bit of manipulation but it will work...see if the slide will pop off when you pull on the take down levers

from trying this with my glock to find out what you have done, the only way i can match your picture is if the spring is not pushed all the way down in to its rest on the barrel, TO PULL the trigger on the glock you have to move it forward, this may cause you a problem if you dont pull the trigger befor putting the slide back on. i dont recommend doing this since glock says not to do it, but if you want to see how things move then go ahead, might give you insite on your firearm

the spring has 2 places it sits on , on the front of the slide and 2 below you chamber area.. theres 2 steps there, it must be on the furthest one down and must be sitting all the way down on it, if you dont have it there it will catch on the frame and end up looking like you picture
the red line is where your spring is catching, this is also why the spring rod looks wrong 1) becouse the barrel is in the feed mode, and two the spring is to far down and catching on the frame.

NOW this is only my suggestion on what your problem is, and is only my two cent.

mmhéhé...yeah, glocks are so easy to work with, seems impossible to mess the thing on a field strip alone.

Seems obvious to me, but the barrel should not be that far forward in the slide with the slide forward as well. With the barrel forward... ie, down, there going to be all kinds of things jamming up in there while trying to slide the slide back into position. Ensure the barrel is seated properly in the slide and like the others said seat the spring in the correct spot THEN assemble.

Yep... The barrel must be locked in the ejection port when you slide the slide assembly back on the frame... It seems you slid the slide assembly back on the frame with the barrel positionned forward in the slide...

I would try removing the slide assembly from the frame, then place the barrel in the correct locked position in the slide, then place the spring assembly in the correct position and finally put back the slide assembly on the frame...
