Maybe instead of keeping the extra mag in pouch, you can keep one extra on your finger and facilitate a reload without reaching for another one that's else where.

Yes it is a good light, and I am pretty sure that you can get stronger bulbs for them

I love the Streamlight. Rockin' the TLR-1s as well. Gives a nice balance and the form of it makes it seem like it was meant for the g17 perfectly.
