Gangster

Just about finished my 10/22 Thompson gangster suit. Took a lot of head scratching to design and fab the drum. It holds 52 and feeds 47 due to the design of the stock mag. Haven't shot it yet but cycled all the rounds manually without fail. Still needs a front sight blade but it's tapped and drilled for a pic rail to mount a scope or red dot.

Superb! Much as I dislike the 10/22, I cannot fault an absolutely beautiful mod job.

However, mounting a scope or a red dot on this rifle will make you lose all credibility.

Thanks for the positive comments guys. The optics would be temp, just for serious gopher shooting. These 60 yr old eyes just don't focus as good as they used to.

Sweet. I really hate the Thompson conversions for the 10/22 that use the commercially available drums that tilt forward in an unattractive fashion.

Range day today. The drum worked perfect, easy to dump a couple hundred rounds. Trigger finger can't handle too many sessions like that. Used blazer ammo, good thing I stocked up this winter.
