indeed, the manual says: rifle measurement accuracy ±0.1% of the target velocityAnother quirk of the Garmin is the inclusion of a decimal point for velocity. I don’t think for one second it provides that level of precision. Again a marketing strategy in my view.
I don't care about the whole "which SD to use" stuff, but THAT I have a problem with. Significant figures matter.indeed, the manual says: rifle measurement accuracy ±0.1% of the target velocity
for example, at 2700fps measured the accuracy is ±2.7fps
but 1699.7fps looks good![]()
Take that, Garmin-lovers! The LabRadar LX (but not the AndiScan A3Another quirk of the Garmin is the inclusion of a decimal point for velocity. I don’t think for one second it provides that level of precision. Again a marketing strategy in my view.
Umm, might want to fact check things before putting it in writing, the LX has the exact same tolerance of +/- 0.1% accuracy. So it doesn't do it better, only the same.....Take that, Garmin-lovers! The LabRadar LX (but not the AndiScan A3) does it better!
