Garmin Xero C1 gets the SD wrong

Another quirk of the Garmin is the inclusion of a decimal point for velocity. I don’t think for one second it provides that level of precision. Again a marketing strategy in my view.
indeed, the manual says: rifle measurement accuracy ±0.1% of the target velocity
for example, at 2700fps measured the accuracy is ±2.7fps
but 1699.7fps looks good :)

I don't care about the whole "which SD to use" stuff, but THAT I have a problem with. Significant figures matter.

Take that, Garmin-lovers! The LabRadar LX (but not the AndiScan A3 :( ) does it better! ;)
Umm, might want to fact check things before putting it in writing, the LX has the exact same tolerance of +/- 0.1% accuracy. So it doesn't do it better, only the same.....

OMG, You fellows need to take off your nerdy glasses and go put on your shooting glasses and pull the trigger more and stop worrying about decimal points.

Much the same argument as the error factor in scales and powder charges. Add in chrono error, then conditions, and how well that batch of bullets was built. I just worry about how consistently the bullet will arrive in an acceptable area downrange over extended time frames and various conditions, and how much risk I have of it not doing that. And after all that, it either does, or it doesn't, which makes it a 50/50 chance anyway.
