Hello !
I will begin soon to cast my 530 gr bullets for my antique Remington rolling block 45-70. I have never made my own bullets before.
My intention is to reload my rifle with smokless powder at B.P. pressure and duplicate approximativly the balistic of the vintage ammos from the Buffalo area, at a muzle speed of +/- 1100 ft/s.
I will try to use 25 to 1 lead/tin alloy. My lub will be Lee.
Do I need a gas check at that speed and pressure ?
Thank you
