Just retierd my old f150. bought myself ranger instead.they claim 30mpg but we'll see about that? but it does beat 7mpg or so that old truck drank. I'll miss that dam truck!!

CORRECTION:
The system DOES incorporate a water seporator in the filter system, should have mentioned that....
I do know some peopel that have used old motor oil in their engines, but I wouldn't reccomend it ( not that I am an expert, but I dont' know about it, and it seems too dirty to me)
In warm temps, you can use straight veg oil. When it gets to -20, you need to start mixing in diesel/insulating lines/tank etc...And of course, even if you mix in 50%, that is still 50% savings....
.You seem like a capable guy when it come s to machines, and if *I* didn't need any installation help, you shouldn't, so If you have a ready supply of deep fryer oil and $3000, you will cut your yearly fuel bill in half or even more. ..
I actualy went through a CO check a few weeks, ago, CO noticed my "fuel" jugs and oil tank and said "this run on bio diesel?"
I just said "yeah sorta" since I didn't have the time to explain the system to them, but I am sure they knew abotu fryer oil as bear bait...

Thanx Gatehouse, I was thinking of mostly mixing with diesel and doing the Vegi in the summer and Engine oil in the winter.
The cost of the system would be a tax write off for me because it would be under my company. I just have to decide if I put it on the Dodge or the Ford, probably the Dodge I guess. It burns about 15 to 20 bucks a day less fuel as is, plus some of the worry some engine parts (injectors) are cheaper, easier to work on etc.
