The upper and lower might have been painted, but I believe they were anodized first. Anodizing is a treatment which leaves a thin, hard exterior coat.
cheesy doesn't begin to describe it..I put it back on because I gave the rifle to my daughter..I'll get her shooting decent with the glass then switch her to irons.Dosing said:Loose that cheesy scope!
The Oly can't be any worse one way or the other. I kinda think you should have gone grey, or green.
The over all quality of the finish is quite nice, having seen some of this stuff up close. Shame you keep using it on klunkers![]()
