It's been a long time since I shot ATA, I think the last time I shot a registered target was 2004?
Ever since I first set eyes on a Citori Golden Clays I have dreamed of owning one and together with wanting to return to ATA shooting the desire was even stronger to go back into the game outfitted with the gun and gear I wanted.
Well it's finally all come together. I started accumulating the required gear I need starting with some Randolph Ranger prescription shooting glasses. I wheeled and dealed a few guns and put in a ton of OT this year at work to save and acquire the gun I have dreamed of since the 90's. I bought it here on the EE from a fellow CGN'r.
Yesterday I finished gearing up with an order to Cabela's for a Browning Cimmaron shooting bag and Cimmaron shell pouch. I feel like a kid in the candy store. I have 7 flats of ammo set aside for spring start up.Thanks to a friend living in the U.S I have an original Browning recoil pad en-route from Browning USA to replace the after market Gooey pad that was installed on the gun.
To say I am anxious to get started is an understatement. Spring can't come quick enough!!
I am posting some pics, well quite a few pics actually of my new to me Trap Gun. Sorry if it's overkill or it seems like I am being a braggart, I am not trying to come off that way. I am just a wee bit excited to have finally put my dream together after working my butt off putting in hours and hours of OT the past year to be able to realize my dream.
And almost forgot, it's has 32" barrels.
First off my new Randolphs......thanks to a local optician known at the Lloyd club as Fast Eddie for putting these together for me. I can now see to hit something again!!
