gearing up for 3gun

on a side note, your performance is 10% gear, 90% practise/skill, so dont go crazy if you cant get that noveske, go buy a norinco and have FUN

NOOO DIRT ON MY PRECIOUS... and i bet you could load an empty mag faster then I could empty a full one... but I found its not really an issue, and I have non coupled ones I can use for prone. the main downside is if you release onto concrete or rocks your mag lips will get bent up to hell. but really, puling a mag down 4 inches, rotate 180 up 4 inches, verses dropping a mag with your hand primed on a mag on your chest/hip 14 inches from your mag well... its more about practice then which is the "uber" method, and having mags that actually FIT in your pouch cause they are coupled is a nice bonus. FYI if you are loseing lar10 mags in your pouch, its easier to put something in the bottom of the pouch, or sew it a bit shallower, to keep the lar 10 mag within easy reach then it is to glue something to the bottom of the mag itself, also better for prone.

Well...prove me wrong at the next 3 gun match....but I've never seen anyone reload those that quickly. The 180 degree rotation is what slows everything down.

FYI, Bladetech has some great mag pouches that fit LAR mags and drawing one from that style pouch is as fast as drawing a pistol mag.

Call me crazy, but there are methods of shooting and reloading that are better than others....if you can save 1-2 seconds every reload, your match times are only going to be faster. Don't get me wrong, I could care less about how I fare compared to everyone else, but I do want to do better each time I go shooting...constantly competing against myself.

You got yer s**t packed for FNH yet? :D

f**k yeah!

Although, I am willing to bet I forget something. Actually, I don't have anything packed yet...but that's because I still got some things to do this weekend. Match, check AR sights, etc, etc.

I have a video somewhere (and thanks to easysauce who FORGOT to record one stage of me... poopypants...) it's not that slow.

I've been running 4 LAR mags coupled and held together with a mag-cinch and the 180* rotation isn't that bad. 40 rounds on the gun (for me) is faster than 40 rounds on the belt.

It all boils down to technique and practice.

But for me, having fun is top priority!.

Well, if we're not having fun, then what's the point

I'll give them a try and see how it goes. (hopefully I don't end up eating my words, :D)
