So I got my SSA trigger in today. Its a 2 stage non adjustable type. It came with what it calls a "slave rod" looks like a small polished dowel piece that is about the same thickness of the trigger pins. There is also an unmarked mini tube of red stuff- I assume that this is grease? No mention of what it is, but viscosity is high. Should I grease all the normal points with this?
Some questions.
-Do I need to remove the factory safety or can I leave it in place?
-Once I have the C-clips removed on the factory pins is there a correct side to hammer them out from? Or does it not matter?
-For the slave rod, do I hammer this in place and follow it up with a real trigger pin? I am sort of puzzled as to exactly the right way to use this dummy rod. Do I need to grease the outside of the pin that will contact the trigger area prior to inserting it?
Any other tips on this? I have looked at alot of stuff online and its either adjustable triggers or all 1 piece types. They all seem to very alittle bit.
