german k43 qve45 8mm mauser

Those boys better hustle a bit further west before the Soviets grab them!
Here's an interesting photo, more than just G/K43's there:

Looks like Kubschütz was a small town located east of Dresden on a rail line very close to where the border of Germany, Poland and Czech Replublic meet. The area city of Liegnitz (Legnica) Poland just 50 miles to the east of this area was captured by the Russians on 10 Feb, 1945

Location of photo: Bautzen in Saxony, Germany; April 25, 1945.

Bautzen is in Saxony and just a few kilometers to the southeast is Kubshutz so the location of the photo seems correct.

According to the article it was the last German victory of the war. They held out until the end with the recapture of Bautzen.

Not intending to lead off topic but one of those sniper rifles is a Mosin 91/30.

Yup. Couple of G43 snipers, a 98k (what looks like) high turret sniper, the 91/30 sniper. Second guy from the left also has a 98k sniper, but I'm unsure which mount system it is.

Also find it interesting that the Fallschirmjager (furthest left) is carrying an MP41.
