German Reticle

I have a VX3I 2.5-8 with a number one. I have to be honest, I'm a bit on the fence with it. Definitely not a reticle that should be one any sort of rifle you plan to shoot very far, IMO. I have moved it to my 20ga slug gun for next years deer hunt.

The #1 on the Leupolds are not as nice as that reticle. Much heavier middle post amd everything seems a bit crowded.

the number 1 leupold is maybe not that spread as the regular german 1 but it is working for fast use at short distance ...

You're probably right, will most likely more suited on my slug gun where my typical range is under 75 yards. I had it originally on my 270wsm.

it is used in europe for a little more than that because of standard reticle if one roe deer fits in the whole horizontal it is a 100m and if the body is using half of the aiming it is at 200m for a roe deer. snipers used that reticle in the past but you need to train a lot but doable. but in today s standard there is better option but still great but i prefer the german 4 myself.

you will get a binoculars or something else as they do not have any warranty center for the scope. best scope ever made for hunting but i did not keep it because of nikon not following up on that.

I don’t follow that logic.
If it is the best scope ever made for hunting you should never have needed the warranty centre.
Nikon isn’t a bad scope but it’s a long ways from the best catagory.

because everything mechanic may and will fail. well the scope had a great field of view great eye relief but i kept my vx 2 and not the 2nikon i had with german 4 ...

Medvedqc give a Leupold Freedom a try with Huntplex or Pigplex reticle.
Full warranty and I think you will like.
And yeah… I’m a Leupold fanboy but Korth has got our backs like no others.
