Ghost Loading 5+1+1 = 7 Semi!

I think he means floating (staging) a round on the ramp. Not sure that's actually legal to do over capacity, but it's a legal gun for sure. My Beretta Extrema II will do the same (so I heard);)

Ghost loading is putting an extra shell on the lifter on some semi automatic shotguns.

So you have 5 in the Magazine. (Canada Limit)

1 in the Chamber.

1 on the Lifter under the bolt.

It is legal because Canada has MAGAZINE Capacity laws. Very similar to 10 round pistol mags in a rifle.

Now that was something I didn't know about... very cool...

Can you do the same with a pump?

I couldn't with my mag-fed, just for the the extra capacity, but a pump isn't limited to capacity by the law, so if you can find a larger magazine or tube mag you could.. I would also assume that a tube mag pump could have one on the lifter, but may be wrong on that point.

I have a 14" Dlask 12 gauge barrel on my 870 so it isn't that I am concerned about legalities my thoughts are to be able to slip one more into the gun would be great considering the limited capacity now..

I just tried the method shown in the video on my 870 and it didn't work. The lifter comes up as you move the bolt forward and tries to feed the shell sitting there into the back of the one loaded into the chamber.
